The Irubil

14th of September

The Irubian way is one of callousness and sacrifice, based on the teachings of The Book of Fallacy. A race built upon tradition and strict governance that prepares the young for war in the event of planetary invasion or the "droichead"". The "droichead" is a contest amongst the Irubil to select the next leader known as the “Tripour” who will lead the Irubian’s until the next "droichead" takes place. Life on the native planet of Phos is treacherous with terrain consisting of mountainous landscapes presenting a chalk white color, in contrast there is an abundance of vegetation along the face and peaks of the rock like environment. Deep valleys and canyons scour the land with little to no water present on the planet. Past leaders and symbolic figures from the

Book of Fallacy are sculpted from the planet's unpigmented rock, such statues showcase great honor and historical importance for the Irubians, these monuments are closely guarded with death put to those who choose to defile or disrespect relics of the past. Irubian’s stand at two meters with a natural instinct to scale the rocks around them, broad shoulders and an impressive grip allows for Irubians to move in silence as they climb and hang on the smallest of ledges for an inhumane amount of time.

Their pale clothing mostly made from lightweight cloth material allows for chameleon cover among exposed areas as they venture up the pale canyons and valleys. All Irubians have white irises, this unique physical attribute allows for them to stalk objects or enemies located miles in the distance. With such strong visual features their eyes are very sensitive to the light emitted from the sun orbiting the planet, a light dark blindfold consisting of silk material is commonly worn as a protective measure during the day until the sun sets. Amongst the dark an Irubian’s vision is clear allowing them to hunt and kill prey a night, hunts are done in pairs with one shooting prey using a crystal wind sniper and the other retrieving the remains whilst scouting the next potential target.

Combat involving the Irubil consists of long range shootouts and strategic positioning to ambush the enemy with sniper fire. Scaling high vantage points, blending in with surroundings and patiently eliminating targets with the use of stealth are native methods taught from generation to generation. Only in the event of the droichead does each region nominate a chosen warrior to part take in hand to hand combat.

Teachings from The Book of Fallacy details historical events from the earliest Irubians to walk the planet, depictions of failed invasions from outsiders spreading foreign ideologies to the infamous Tripour’s who led the Irubian people to either war or peace. Enforcement of common laws differ from each Irubian region. However, four core orders from The Book of Fallacy are to be followed to fulfill each Irubian’s purpose. One is that when an Irubil comes of age, they must scale the wall of Pyros from the depths below and return the fruit of fire growing at the highest point. Only when this is done loyalty to those before them and physical maturity is proven.

Second order consists of venturing to the Phos designated capital region of Barku, presenting gifts and trade to elders establishing strong bonds and unity in an effort to maintain peace. Third is to allow and accept judgment from the tripour on new ideas or technology that may affect Irubian life. The fourth order maintains that if an Irubil wishes to leave the Irubian way of life, they shall wear a brand to represent their refusal in honoring the memories of those who lived before.
